This week we have been looking at biographies. This week we would like you read a biography of somebody that you are interested in. You could look online or visit the library to find some examples. He was born in 11th February 1847 and he died in 18th October 1931.
Thomas Edision invented a lightbulb first in November 1879.
Thomas Edision married a 16 year old girl in 1871 called Mary stilwell.
Thomas Edition had six children called Charles, Theodore, Thomas Junior, Madeline, Marion and William.

The Ancient ancestors of these people where the Ancient Greeks who defeated the Ancient Egyptians and were defeated by the Ancient Romans (Romans rather).
The highest mountain in Greece is Mount Olympus which is 9,754 ft. and is where the Greek Gods live. The Greeks have many gods including, Hades god of the underworld and Aphrodite goddess of beauty.
Greece is home to over 6,000 varieties of plants. The mountains are home to wolves and bears. The ocean waters surrounding the islands (example Crete), are home to turtles and seals.
Greece has thousands of islands -but only about 200 of them are inhabited or visited by tourists. Crete is the largest of the islands.
